Save The Date! 2021 Hollywood Climate Summit

The Hollywood Climate Summit is an annual gathering of the entertainment community to combat the climate crisis. This year, the summit will take place from September 23-26, 2021 as both a digital and in-person outdoor experience in Los Angeles. Produced by the social impact agency YEA! Impact, the programming was developed in collaboration with the agency’s fiscally sponsored coalition which consists of 50 young Hollywood leaders and changemakers.

This year, the producers are calling for a unified collective effort to take action on environmental priorities. It’s an opportunity to build alliances, exchange resources, celebrate progress, increase accountability and inspire action.

Guest appearances will include Rosario Dawson, Dave Burd aka Lil Dicky (Actor, Comedian, Rapper), Senator Ed Markey, Hunter Vaughan (Co-Director of the Global Green Network and Author of Hollywood's Dirtiest Secret: the Hidden Environmental Costs of Movies), Emellie O'Brien (Founder & CEO of Earth Angel), Emma Stewart Ph.D. (Netflix’s Sustainability Officer), Richa Moorjani (Actor, Activist), Leah Thomas (Activist, Author, founder of Intersectional Environmentalist), and many more.

By utilizing the digital conference platform, Hopin, the summit will consist of four virtual action-oriented days packed with digital, interactive programming and one-on-one networking, along with an in-person “Eco-Bash” on September 25th, 2021, which will consist of a screening of the film, Youth v. Gov, by performances and a fully sustainable party. The summit will be presented by Netflix and NYU Los Angeles with programming sponsored by the NRDC, Sierra Club, Wild Elements Foundation, Earth Angel, Bloomberg Philanthropies, The Center For Cultural Power, Green Production Guide/PGA Green, Scriptation, British Film Commission, and EarthJustice. ​
