About the filmmaker: Miriam Arghandiwal is a currently in USC's Film and Television production program. She is a former war-journalist turned filmmaker from Dublin, California and aims to write for Television as her main career goal. Her films often take a journalistic approach into telling narrative social issue stories. She changed careers on the belief that film has the strongest potential of all mediums to create empathy amongst society and influence real change in the mindset of it's audience.
