Time's Up
/Times’ Up, a short film by Hortense Lingjaerde, USC MFA, is about a woman alone at night. The film captures the way men often make spaces unsafe for women. The film is having a successful festival run, in part because of the emotionally powerful way the film tackles sexual harassment and assault.
Filmmaker Lingjaerde says “It took a community of women to come together to make this story come to life and the help of a few men as allies. We all had stories to share during the making of this film. It was sad to see that we all had shared experiences of sexual harassment, but we were able to bond over the desire to bring awareness to this issue.”
