Andrew, himself born and raised in Jamaica, is a DGA award winning director and is in the 2020 class of Film Independent's Project Involve and RespectAbility Summer Lab program as well as a recipient of Easterseals Disability Services Fellowship. In his own words:

I am a filmmaker and storyteller originally from Kingston, Jamaica. Migrating to Miami, FL when I was ten years old was difficult for my family. We struggled to cope with American society. My father worked construction and my mother cleaned tables at a Jamaican restaurant. We barely made rent and had no guarantee we would get our green cards.

Today, I am a citizen of the United States and am forever indebted to my parents for their sacrifice. Unfortunately, I know many individuals who did not share the same fate. This series is for them.
